The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) reports that in 2001 the purchasing power parity of Belarus's exports was $7.5 billion while imports totaled $8.1 billion resulting in a trade deficit of $600 million.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) reports that in 2001 Belarus had exports of goods totaling $7.26 billion and imports totaling $8.06 billion. The services credit totaled $1.01 billion and debit $603 million.
